It seems the day of the PIPA/SOPA blackout is on us at last. I had hoped it might end before this, but... quite frankly, I am unamused with  the American congress. Oh sure, PIPA looks innocent enough, but even "1984" had to start somewhere. In the words of the late Mr. Christopher Hitchens: "I have never met nor heard of anybody I would trust with the job of deciding in advance what it might be permissible for me or anyone else to say or read."
